  • Air traffic controllers are exempt from a buyout offer President Trump’s administration introduced last week to nearly 2 million federal workers, including controllers. The clarification follows two deadly plane crashes, which renewed fears of the impact of air traffic controller shortages on aviation safety.
President Donald Trump’s administration is exempting air traffic controllers from government buyouts that were offered to millions of federal employees as a financial incentive to quit.

You guy are so desperate, you'll click on any click-bait for a hit of libtard dope. You're addicted to looking like complete drones.

Oh my god, an email went out to some people that were exempt from the deal. WHAT COULD THEY DO, THEY WERE VICTIMS OF GETTING AN EMAIL THAT DIDN'T APPLY TO THEM. THE HUMANITY!! That's never happened before.

For anyone not aware, yes, an email went out to ATC's but no they are not and WERE NOT EVER included in the buy out offer. The policy did not include ATC at all from the very first second the EO was signed.

These morons are complaining about an email that the ATC's did receive in error. If they were not already aware they were exempt, it took them 2 minutes to find out. ROFL Just another example of the completely idiotic dumbass drones jumping all over something every single person has dealt with many times. FOOLS

According to your link, trump made the offer to air traffic controllers on January 28th, and then rescinded it on February 2nd. The crash happened on January 30th.

So the offer was out there when the plane crash happened.

Beyond that, taking the offer requires those that take the offer to trust that trump will honor the offer. There is 7 months that employees will fail to do their job, with the promise they will not be punished, and in fact will be fully paid. If trump is rescinding offers that people have already accepted, there is no way to trust him.

Clearly trump realizes he made a horrible mistake, and is trying to figure out ways to undo this.

The offer was made to all federal employees. Later trump started making vague rescinding of offers. In any sane contract law, you cannot do that.
Wrong again dipshit, try going outside your clickbait sources. The actual policy from the first second did not include ATC FOR SURE 100%. You're a moron as usual. And no, I won't provide it for you. It's time you dipshits leave your echo chamber and start finding out the truth all by yourself. You'll never learn if I keep spoon feeding you. You're completely wrong. An email did go to them in error, that's it. DIPSHIT

ATC was only excluded almost a week later. The offer was already made by that time, and could have already been accepted.

An email did go to them in error, that's it.
The email went out on Tuesday, and they only realized it went out in error on Sunday? Given that they were rushing employees to agree, it is silly to rescind the offer so late.

Everyone keeps telling trump that this rushing around will only waste money, and make for terrible decisions. Get the details right is the way to go.

I told you the email went out, yes. The ATC was always excluded, dipshit. Show me your evidence that the ATC was only excluded a week later. I don't want some clickbait link. Just paste in the proof. You won't, because you can't

Where the fuck was Musk?

No, it doesn't...it says nothing of an offer to ATC on the 28thlll
WASHINGTON, Feb 2 (Reuters) - The Trump administration said on Sunday that federal employees involved in public safety positions, such as air traffic controllers, are exempt from a financial incentive to quit government jobs.
That is just common sense, isn't it?
The workers offered the buy out aren't essential...they can choose to believe him, or not...
If they're dedicated workers, they will...If they're federal employees just taking up space and just doing the minimum to get by, they may not...remember who they worked for the last four years...

There was no mention of excluding the ATC at the time, and they got the email saying they were included. They got the email on Tuesday. On Thursday, the plane crashed. And then finally, on Sunday, the trump administration decided the ATC was excluded. That is 6 days that air traffic controllers could take the offer. And because the offer included a limit inside it, they can legally continue to take the offer.

There was no thinking behind the offer.

I've tried to help, it pointless. You don't know what you're talking about because you're reading bullshit from bullshit sources, that will never change. There couldn't be a less relevant issue for me to keep trying to get a libtard to understand. Enjoy your ignorance, it really fits you.

They made the offer on Tuesday. Even according to your own citation, they did not rescind the offer until Sunday.

The workers offered the buy out aren't essential.
There has not been an intensive investigation to decide who is and is not essential. There was just a general offer.

That being said, essential workers leave jobs all the time. They are replaced by other essential workers, or if there are too many essential workers in a field, they are not replaced. It is not an air traffic controllers job to decide if there are too many air traffic controllers or not.

If they're dedicated workers
This is just bad management. The manager treats people like shit, and then complains when they leave, saying they are not dedicated workers. It is sad they are doing this to our most important public servants.

I hear it is mostly going to hit the medical research, and regulations. It is going to vastly increase red tape on life saving technologies.

If they're federal employees just taking up space and just doing the minimum to get by, they may not.
It is the best employees who will take the buyout. They can find a much better paying job elsewhere. The most useless will stay where they are. And will have a lot more job security now that so many of the best are gone.

The best won't take the buyout...
