Indeed...and time to commence with the Biden family investigation...so much evidence of criminality... Joe and Jill better take that getaway he mentioned they "need" very soon....
Does he really think he's going to run in 2024?

ETA: Did he really say "Lots of luck in your senior year"?

DeSantis will run back to the middle, reinvent himself as a moderate, if he wants to be president.

No more punishment for private companies that disagree with him.

No more anti-vaccine mandates.

George Will, whose conservative commentary is usually on the mark even for a liberal, has similar advice this morning. Older Democrats should think twice before accepting Biden's recommendation that they thank inflation for enabling an 8.7 increase in Social Security payments next year; Republicans should understand that the country never responds well to leaders who make a habit of demonizing political opponents or insists they accept nonsense that has a soothing quality (translate "stolen election").

why?......you still haven't found evidence of any crimes......

I doubt Jarod has been looking for it.

His correct point is Trump's increased vulnerability without the armor of a strong GOP showing in the election. If an indictment is made Garland and the DOJ will have to contend with public reception of it. That will be easier now than it would be if Trump were emerging from the midterms as the likely Republican nominee for President in 2024.

Possibly. If he wants to be President, he'll have to moderate his message. Oz attempted to move to the center, but it was too little, too late.

40% of voting* Americans are Independents because they feel neither party represents them. As such, the best strategy to weaken the dominant party is to vote for the challenger. In 2020 it was the Democrats, in 2022 it was the Republicans. In 2024, I'm guessing the Independents will swing back to the Democrats again.

A lot depends how far off the rails Team Crazy decides to go.

*24% of all voter eligible Americans. Each party holds about 30% of American voters, about 18% of all voter eligible American...if my math is correct. Feel free to correct.

I think he’s going to try to be Trump light, but after last night, I don’t think he has a lot to worry about regarding Trump. I think Trump is done.

I've heard the same thing on Fox News from several guests. Most soft pedal it with things like "It's time we looked forward and not to the past" or "time for the new generation to take power", but the message is clear: Trump is done.

As such, and with Trump being an overgrown wuss, I doubt Trump will announce his candidacy next week. If he does, and I hope he does, he's going to take a huuuuge shellacking. :rofl2:
