Sure, allow me to break it down...

No. We who practice freedom in our lives do not concern ourselves with who is having sex with whom, except that it be between adults and consentual.
This part is partially true, except for the fact that the onus in that situation is on the older person, if there is even a question, to make sure. When it is revealed that the younger person was a minor, then someone like the older man is in the spotlight, and his judgement is in question.

Unlike rightwing lunatics who want to preach that everyone's sex-life is their business, homosexuality should be illegal, and that their moral standards are the only standards anyone should use.
I take exception to the gross generalization going on here. Persons on the right are no more interested in what goes on behind the closed doors of the bedroom of consenting adults, than people on the left are. I am on the right, and I don't give a damn if homosexuals get married or not. It just doesn't effect me. The morals, and ethics of people is an important thing. Zappa, you seem generally like a pretty cool dude. I don't agree with you politically, but I can genuinely picture you being at one of our summer home pool parties, fitting right in with everyone else having a great time, but that is because deep down morals, and ethics transcend surface political arguments, and what is wrong, is wrong period. We both could agree on these things, and situations upon presentation.

When those folks get busted doing what they have been preaching against, their hypocrisy is news.
Hypocrisy is an abundant commodity in politics. The left was outraged at Foley, and Stevens last election cycle, meanwhile when there was a congressmen named Gerry Studds (D) actually busted, and unashamed about taking advantage of a young intern in congress, demo's circled the wagons and gave him a standing O on the house floor. So spare us all the hypocrisy lecture.
