He's ashamed. Instead of shooting it out like David Koresh he squirted a few and begged the Feds for mercy...

afraid. he could put me on ignore, but instead the coward had to ask for my banishment. i'm only scary to frady cats like howey. don't you think it is dumb of him to call for me to banned? if you can't handle opposing viewpoints, stay off the board.

Lol...it's just soooooo easy to push those buttons.

Every time I do, what happens?

MELTDOWN!

Hell yeah I'm scared of him. Like the Russians were scared of Stalin! What, does that give you a little stiffy? Maybe you got what it takes to be one of his storm troopers! And the burning question here is, should ANY American be AFRAID of their president? It is a repugnant concept.

I agree that opposing views should be welcomed when civilly stated .. and I agree that disagreement is no cause to be banned .. when civilly stated.

Yet some righties think they should be feared....

Civility? pfft! You're one to talk.

Yeah dude, I am the one to talk.

My desire for civil conversation does not mean that I'm going to listen to nasty people like you .. who can never back up what they claim .. talk shit to me without me having some fun with it. :0) Talk shit to me if you choose .. expect that I'll be having fun with it.

When anyone chooses to engage in civil conversation, I respond in kind. I don't care which side of the political fence they're on, if they can debate civilly, that's the person I want to talk to.

Why don't we test that?

If you can possibly hold a civil conversation on any issue, I guarantee that I will respond in kind and respect, though I may disagree, with your opinion.

What do you think?

So, let's recap:

Rightwingers are scared shitless of Obama.

I'm more afraid of Obama than they are, and I'm to the left of democrats.

Right-wingers love war .. I don't. Obama is on THEIR side.

I don't want to see an attack on Iran .. they do. After the election an attack on Iran is almost guaranteed.

I don't want a government run by corporations. They do. Obama is a corporatist.

In truth, if right-wingers were to put aside their talking points, they'd find they have a lot in common with Barack Obama .. except the skin color.

of course......given how badly he's fucked up the economy in four years how can we let him have another four?.....

Obama fucked up the economy? I don't think you remember what it was like at the end of 08...I do and my life today is 200% better than it was then..
I remember watching a client come home in the middle of the day and climb in bed fully clothed after watching 1/2 of his net worth evaporate.. I remember my grandmother losing $80K over a dozen hours and having a panic attack because that was what my grandfather left her after he died to live on after working at NASA for his entire career.. I remember holding my breath, all of us.. watching and waiting for the run on that banks that really would have crippled this country.. and watching as the rest of the world was crippled..

maybe you had a good year that year.. but most of the rest of us were scared to see what was going to happen next.. Today? not like that at all..

but let's take a gander..

for 9 straight years after our surplus, we ran deficits..

http://www.nytimes.com/2011/07/24/opinion/sunday/24sun4.html

not that deficits mattered.. or so Cheney said... unless of course they're Obama deficits.. then they matter.. HA!

anyway

the right-leaning cato institute said in 2009 "I’m a big fan of criticizing Obama’s profligacy, but it is inaccurate and/or dishonest to blame him for Bush’s mistakes." and posted this chart..

bush-obama-2009-outlays.jpg

http://www.cato-at-liberty.org/defending-obama-again/

...after Fox started the story about how Obama's spending "..nearly double what his predecessor did".. just to show that no, no-no.. it wasn't Obama's spending..but that Cato-story didn't fit the narrative so it was ignored..

-Bush shed 913,000 private sector jobs in his 1st term but padded them with adding 900,000 public sector jobs.. Obama, shed 600,000 public sector jobs and has a net gain of 35,000 private sector jobs

http://www.calculatedriskblog.com/2012/05/april-employment-summary-and-disucssion.html

Not exactly the narrative Fox invented..

The country lost 4.2 million private sector jobs during Obama’s first term as a result of the economic crisis the president inherited. Since early 2010, the economy has added 4.25 million private sector jobs, resulting in a net gain of private sector jobs for the first time during the Obama administration. (The public sector has lost 607,000 jobs since Obama took office.)

There is a number buried in today’s government labor report that deserves closer examination: 35,000. That’s the net number of private sector jobs created during the Obama administration to date. That’s right, it’s a positive number. After the worst economic disaster to befall the United States in 80 years, that’s a number that maybe we should be applauding. Remember: The private sector hemorrhaged more than 2 million jobs in the first three months of 2009 alone. The hole was deep.

Again, not something you hear from Hannity, Rush, Coulter, Palin.. or Romney.

once again.. Bush v Obama

oddly enough.. the unfunded Bush tax cut,two unfunded wars, the unfunded medicare D, increased defense spending,TARP etc.. were all something Paul Ryan voted for...thus enabling all this mess...

hmmm... You're right.. 'how can we let Ryan and the GOP have another four?'..

Thanks for that post. You did a wonderful job. Romney/Ryan are NOT fiscal conservatives...

Righties are terrified shitless of Obama, the first Black president.

How many people are stockpiling supplies in their cellars as a result of fearing a GOP President?

Tightie righties are afraid of everything...they eat, breath and sleep FEAR..when they aren't doing that their doing HATE.
