Abramhoff KNEW we were going to war with Iraq in early 2002?

Incredible! The president was giving speeches right before the vote on giving him the power to make the decision on whether we would go to war on Iraq or not, telling EVERYONE that he HAD NOT made up his mid yet on Iraq and 8 months earlier even Jack Abramoff, the scum of the scum right arm of the republican party, KNEW that President Bush was just trying to FIX the facts so that he could get the public behind his very early on decision to attack Iraq.... :(

Anyone who watched the Republican News Channel...ahem, I mean the Fox News Channel in early 2002, could see what was coming. As soon as the Taliban fell, Fox News started fear-mongering and beating the war drums on Iraq.

Did any top level Democrat ever mention the Downing Street Memo in public...

It will be interesting to see if as Amy Goodwin wondered and asked Sen Leahy on Friday concerning a possible retaking of Congress. What will change when the Democrats control Congress??...Leahy's response was far from invigorating. He hemed and hawed and finally made a big deal out of asking questions. What it boiled down to was this: If the Democrats regain Congress expect a lot of questions to be asked. Now there is an agenda worth campaigning on..."Vote for me, I will ask a lot of questions..."

The Democrats are starting to remind of the OJ Simpson defense team, just hang in there and see what happens. They are lucky they have all these scandals and incompetence to run on, without that I don't think they could take back the House, let alone the Senate..

Yep then demoncrats don't have the balls to take back congress. They are just lucky the rebuilikens are shooting themselves in their feet as fast as they can.
The corrupt warmongering bush era is winding down, but no thanks to the wussy demoncrats.
