About to go see The Specials

One of my favorite bands from the eighties is playing tonight and I'm going to see the show. I doubt more than a few hundred people in Danbury ( show is at WSCU ) even know who The Specials are. Anyone here know of them?

I saw them in Sheffield in 2009, I didn't know that they were even known in the US.

can't wait! Forgot almost all the best songs. I've been meaning to get this album again. Lost a couple of decades ago and missed sorely. Other favorite band was the English Beat before they split up.

They sound a lot like a group I used to listen to called the Crazy Eights...good stuff.

Actually I have just realised that I can't like the Specials because I have been labelled a racist by the JPP racism kangaroo court.

Great band - really had their own thing going. I didn't realize they were still playing.

As to the post above, I decree that anyone who does not acknowledge their greatness is racist. And there will be no disputing that - or you're just whining.
