But there are actually many races. They are listed on your job applications, and official forms. They are used to decide if you should be allowed to succeed, according to some theory based on justice through discrimination.
But Europeans have the lowest birthrate on the planet. So by this logic the greenies should kill Mexicans and Africans. In the new mentality of scarcity propagated by the green movement, we start proposing to ourselves the question: Who should die? Obviously, white people. You cannot maintain a "no proof of denigration" argument when they simply didn't hire a whole group of qualified candidates. Nobody can show what the fire department would be like if the most qualified always got the job. You couldn't prove what level of improvement there may have been as opposed to what level there was. Nobody has that kind of scrying stone.Are you aware of any lack or denigration of service related to New Haven's attempt to make the Fire Department reflective of it's community?

You make a valid point about the capacity to perform, but I've serached for indicators that the quality of service in New Haven has declined and I couldn't find any .. which would of course have been the first argument those who oppose the policy would have used if it was a valid argument.

How many black people do you hear "whining" that there should be more blacks in the NHL? That there should be more black hockey players?
The difference you both ignore is that blacks were barred from the NFL and the NBA .. white guys were not. As long as they had the ability to play, they played.
The reason you don't hear blacks whining about the NHL is because we don't play hockey at that level. In fact, we aren't very good at any sport that is played on ice or in the cold .. "Cool Runnings" not withstanding.

Obvioulsly, given the makeup of sports like basketball today for instance, there was indeed and in fact a racial impediment to who got to play the sport. No such impediment has ever existed for white men.

Again, rubbish. 15 very qualified people can show that solely for the absence of pigmentation their qualifications were rejected. Rejecting qualifications because of pigmentation is unjustified.Then as I've said, it's not an argument.
If no one can qualify or quantify any denigration of services, there's no argument .. which means, that they are indeed hiring candidates who are qualified to do the job.
