Unexplained excess deaths at home almost nine times higher than those from Covid

ONS figures spark concern that many are failing to get treatment for serious conditions as coronavirus crisis continues

There is no questioning the fact of excess deaths in 2020. But the emerging question is how many of them fall into the ‘unexplained’ category and are plausibly due to lockdowns and delayed medical treatment.

It’s going to take time to unravel this but the facts are slowly emerging.

Then too there is the matter of if we were to take the official COVID death number and subtract those who died in car accidents what would that number be?

All manner of perspective has been jettisoned when it comes to the China Virus lol.

Speaking of subtraction: subtract the *actually disastrous* northeast outbreak in the Spring and would COVID be the story it is today?

Nope.

How many did Cuomo kill with his decision to send COVID to old people warehouses in order to keep hospital numbers down is a number that I would like to have.

How many were killed because they were put in vents early....this was the policy for several months till doctors doing it realized it was a bad idea....it fucking took months to stop doing this....this is another number that I would like.

Hard to say.

But there’s no question that the northeast outbreak was the biggie. After that, the Sun Belt kicked in but that was more a ‘steady bleed’, if you will. But that wave burnt itself out for the most part. Now it’s in the Midwest—and so far at least, that wave is off to a slower start than the Sun Belt wave.

The virus seems to have moved through the high population density regions—and with any luck, has left a fair amount of immunity in its wake. Seems to the case in NYC. The China virus ‘needs’ high population density to kick up the big numbers so with any luck we’ve seen the worst of it.

Though SF is interesting: it doesnt fit the pattern. It’s not masks, because there’s everything reason to think COVID would plow right their homeless population. And not only do they not mask they live elbow to elbow in utter squalor.

Interesting.

Iatrogenic deaths.

Several tens of thousands, at minimum. Due to the early CDC guidelines with intubating COVID patients. Intubation COVID=bad.

Good news is iatrogenic deaths are way down which is a big reason there’s been a significant drop in the death rate. So anyone ‘hoping’ for more big numbers before the election is probably going to be disappointed.

I remember when I posted a video of a technician in a NY hospital railing about all the ventilators lying idle in a store room. The usual fuckwits like Joanie, Katzshit and Arsecheese tried to say he wasn't a doctor, so what did he know. Well you nasty cunts, he was fucking right and you were wrong.

I've heard in TV discussions number between 5,800 and 15,000.

The stats are accumulated by Cuomo's butt kissers. We may never know.

They were just demonstrating how little they know how things work in the medical world lol.

Doctors [well, the good ones] rely *heavily* on the nurses and technicians underneath them. All the doctor does is write an order for a vent and then he goes and does something else. It’s up to the nurses and technicians to then manage the ventilator and watch the patients vital stats.

A fraction. A bad decision early on, but one made w/ the facts at the time. But Cuomo is a real leader - he can admit mistakes, learn from them and adjust. And he did - he made NY an example for the rest of the nation.

Contrast that to Trump: he is on tape admitting that COVID is deadly and easily transmissible, but he has made a calculation that large rallies will create enthusiasm and help him get elected. He even told a reporter that HE is safe, because he's up on stage. But he puts the lives of his supporters at risk - because it may help him win.

A friend of mine called me today to ask if I had ever heard of the Mandela effect. He swears the timeline changed in the last few days. He said he swore he had heard 200 million Americans had died from Covid on the news but then he says it all changed the next day.
>spooky

Cuomo made NY an example???

NY has 1634 covid deaths per million and FL has 617. Oh yeah I see your point they are an example.

I am sure that is true, in Britain, where they have defeated the first wave. The problem is we still have the first wave. I am not sure why you titled a thread about the UK with the USA death number. Do you think we are in the UK? Do you think we have universal healthcare?

Thread topic is excess deaths that are plausibly due to mitigation measures.

And not the virus. In the UK that number could be nine times higher than COVID deaths.

You don’t think this relates in any way with what’s going on here?

Well you offered no proof they defeated the first wave and their death per million is 618 and ours is 615.
