Personally, I think it's unlikely that an abortion in the 1st trimester has any bearing on any soul out there.
The “righteous” always think people who don’t believe in their religion haven’t studied, prayed, begged or at one time were part of the “faithful”. They want to desperately think we haven’t studied or don’t understand. It makes them feel better I guess and superior to the “unbelievers” because they supposedly understand, yet, much of what they believe isnt provable and just be taken on faith alone.
I would say that underneath your gruff exterior there is a heart of gold........but I know its not true.......ok, we could use a utilitarian argument: the amount of stems cells that would be able to used for research or on patients would end up saving even more lives than the one life of the child. In that case, one could argue it's more moral to save the embryos because doing so would create the maximum amount of happiness and positive impact.

Jefferson and the Bill of Rights[edit]
Main articles: Establishment Clause and Free Exercise Clause
Thomas Jefferson, the third President of the United States, whose letter to the Danbury Baptists Association is often quoted in debates regarding the separation of church and state.
In English, the exact term is an offshoot of the phrase, "wall of separation between church and state", as written in Thomas Jefferson's letter to the Danbury Baptist Association in 1802. In that letter, referencing the First Amendment to the United States Constitution, Jefferson writes:
Believing with you that religion is a matter which lies solely between Man & his God, that he owes account to none other for his faith or his worship, that the legitimate powers of government reach actions only, & not opinions, I contemplate with sovereign reverence that act of the whole American people which declared that their legislature should 'make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof,' thus building a wall of separation between Church and State.[25]
Jefferson was describing to the Baptists that the United States Bill of Rights prevents the establishment of a national church, and in so doing they did not have to fear government interference in their right to expressions of religious conscience. The Bill of Rights was one of the earliest examples in the world of complete religious freedom (adopted in 1791, only preceded by the Declaration of the Rights of Man and of the Citizen in 1789).[original
No law that forces others to live by the rules one religion.
that is whaat establishing a religion means.
The liberals always think people who don’t believe in their ideology haven’t studied, prayed, begged or at one time were part of the “faithful”. They want to desperately think we haven’t studied or don’t understand. It makes them feel better I guess and superior to the “unbelievers” because they supposedly understand, yet, much of what they believe isnt provable and just be taken on faith alone.
Why do always feel the need to answer for others? What a horrible thing to say, he has claimed a belief in God on many occasions, his beliefs are just different from yours.
Islam for instance?so that means you are allowed to force me and others to live under the tennents of your religion as YOU interpet them?
what if all the other religions in America did the same?
If what you say is true, then why is "In God we trust" the official motto of the USA? It says so in Wikipedia and we all know how much you love it!!you better go back and check
I think it was me your thining of
stop panicing and calm down and discuss this like decent people
these are just the same debates the founders had when they decided NO RELIGION should have its hands on our government
Yet people like you, Crypiss and Rana cannot understand why so many are wary of Islam, especially Salifism. Try wearing a cross in public in many Muslim countries like the UAE or much of the Middle East.thats nice
so how does that fit in with you having YOUR religion be the LAW for everyone else in America
you have a person with a gun in hand threatening to kill all those around him. in the other corner, you have a stack of 36 AR-15s fully loaded. Do you shoot and kill the person holding the gun who is threatening or do you confiscate the 36 AR-15s from the other corner?
In all my years of dealing with idiots who claim guns are to blame for gun violence, i'd like a straight answer for once.
