Abortion Backlash Freaking Out Republicans

Parents without PhDs in education are the same as parents without neurosurgery training--they needn't involve themselves in certain operations.
That, of course, is my East Coast elitist opinion unlikely to convince Middle American populists.
The thing is, we're only qualified to share our own opinions.
I have no proxy to be spokesperson for other opinions!:)
And you are certainly entitled to your opinion....But...We will have to agree to disagree on this one...Teachers need parents...and the community... to be involved...without question... it takes a village you know:)

Neurosurgery training isn't a requirement to be a concerned parent with children whose education they are paying for.

The left is attempting to indoctrinate the children, not educate them and America is not accepting this.

Leave the children alone, there is ample opportunity to indoctrinate them later, when they are in college and can think for themselves...not all but some.

This indoctrination by the left is harming America. Both sides should be aired but this is not happening at many universities.

Why is the left afraid of a balanced education...why do they shout down conservative speakers, perhaps they know that when censorship is lifted, they will be rejected.

I believe you about the Jarred unborn babies... I'm glad that my high school was not a participant in that kind of display.... but we took education very very seriously when I was growing up...no mistake about that... and parents were very involved... I'm happy to see that concern...and parental and community involvement... is returning to our schools....as you may be seeing, others are not so joyful... it is the progressive families who are always on fire about something... so we've got a lot of work to do to bring everyone together... this is all about what's best for the kids after all...anything and everything is possible...

Is that where you learned to read and write like a 7th-grade mean girl, all emojis and improper grammar and incorrect use of punctuation?

You and your Reichwing ilk spend all day here screaming about how America is falling apart, we're all gonna die, commies under your beds, uppity people of color taking your jobs, blah blah blah. But yeah, "progressives." :rofl2:

Everyone has to come together...I think the parents are seeing the damage that is happening to their children because of the thoughts and practices that aren't conducive to a solid education...
I wish I could discuss local problems...and great successes here, but unfortunately, I cannot...I bet you can take an educational guess why...
I don't want to have to go through that again...it was ridiculous...

You can't discuss "local problems" because you have no clue what they are, never having been in the loop to begin with. But do tell us, "teacher," what is "happening to their children" these days? They're learning that Jaden having two dads is no big deal? They're learning about past and current racism? (We can see why you don't want the little "thugs," as you call urban students, to hear about *that,* right?) They're being taught that it's good to be kind and accepting of others even if they don't look or talk like you?

We just spent a few days with my 7-yo g-daughter who is in 2nd grade. She's very bright but not overly so. She has learned to add double digits in her head already. She can read and understand the text of real estate ads (she loves that topic). She knows the stages of how a butterfly develops from an egg. And that's just in 2nd grade. What problems do you see here, "teacher"?

Yup. This universe is definitely the creation of an all-loving and omnipotent deity...with a very depraved sense of humor. :duel:

 Nice analogy, and with only one problem. Toxic TOP is too chickenshit to reply to me directly. Instead, she runs back to her Thumb-Sucking Safe House thread where I'm thread-banned, to throw little shitballs in my direction. See Exhibit A, right here:

Today's trigger word: Progressives...

I'm also afforded the recognition of multiple thread bans, but in my case,
I usually can't read the thread's original post anyway
due to the comprehensiveness of my ignore list. :innocent:

A healthy ignore list is the only way to enjoy the forum, in my not-very-humble opinion. lol

I hope I can find a way to avoid getting banished to that ignore list...;) I am a retired teacher by the way... the funniest thing is everyone here knows that...:)

Why don't you, TOP? Living life at the bottom of a vodka bottle isn't much of a life, old girl.

Some of us, particularly those who love to quote Bible verses and tell us how Christian they are, are better at handing out advice than practicing what they preach. And here they are, on one of the holiest days that their so-called faith celebrates, spiting and snarling on the Internet. Just like Jesus would have done if He wasn't busy getting resurrected. ;)

Cue the "so triggered" post in 4... 3... 2... 1...

Seeming to care more about protecting guns than school children probably isn't a good look either, and it gives a lie to the "sanctity of life" claim.

The GOP's position on "pro-life" is a mendacious joke. They only care about fetuses. But the minute it becomes a real human then they are on their own. They will have to navigate crushing poverty and rampant gun violence...two things the GOP truly values (not doing welfare and protecting guns).

The GOP is the very reason the verse Matthew 7:21 appears in the bible they pay lipservice to but never seem to actually read.

God praise jesus and his very special egg day!

if mary killed jesus, the virgin born saviour, minutes after birth because that's private medical information, what would jesus do?
