A very special prosecutor indeed

Nathan Wade appears to have made far more visits to the neighborhood of Fulton County, Georgia, District Attorney Fani Willis than previously admitted in court.

A Friday filing from the attorney of former President Trump claims to show at least 35 visits by Wade to Willis' neighborhood before he was hired as a key special prosecutor on the Trump case.

Wade testified last week that he did not visit Willis' condo more than 10 times before being hired in November 2021. Willis and Wade maintain that their relationship began in early 2022. But his phone appeared to be near Willis' address at late hours on some nights before he was hired, according to cell phone data......

So Wade was visiting Fani multiple times BEFORE he was hired as a Special Prosecutor. I guess Fani was just interviewing him. Me thinks they are lying.

According to the 3,000 foot and 2,000 foot radii used for each tower, Wade could have been a mile from Willis' condo. Hardly proof he was there since there are bars, strip clubs and restaurants in that area and not proof they were having a sexual relationship.

The data does not definitively prove that Wade was visiting Willis — or, if he was, what happened during those visits. The Hapeville area where Willis rented the condo is a busy commercial stretch adjacent to the Atlanta airport, filled with restaurants and major highways. It is also among the more densely populated, predominantly Black neighborhoods in the region and is home to a concentration of businesses that are open late, including bars, night clubs and strip clubs.

It’s unknown how large of an area Trump’s investigator examined around the condo. He explained in his affidavit that he drew the data from two cellphone towers, one 2,000 feet from the condo and the other about 3,000 away. An area many thousands of feet across could capture large swaths of territory well beyond Willis’s former condo.

A top Atlanta prosecutor lives in a neighborhood that is within roughly half-a-mile of less of seedy bars, strip clubs, and the like--a few blocks-- (note the plural)? I don't think so... That makes it sound like she lives in the low rent district.

They can place your phone with a few feet of a location. That is how they caught a lot of J6 rioters. Wade was making booty calls.

according to investigator Charles Mittelstadt in his report filed to Fulton County Superior Court.

He said there was so much data that he focused on two specific dates, which revealed Wade was in the direct vicinity of Willis's apartment on one occasion in September, 2021 before he was appointed until 3.28am. He went home and then texted her at 4.20am.

Two months later, in November, 2021 he called Willis at 11.32pm and arrived in the specific area of the apartment at 12.43am, staying there until 4.55am.

Are the bars seedy because it is a black neighborhood? Or because they are near the international airport? No one other than you called them seedy.
There is nothing that says the bars are seedy and the area around the towers would be an area roughly 2 miles by 1 mile. That is a rather large area in a metro.

No. Trump's investigator does not place the phone within a few feet of a location.
The funny part about the affidavit is they had to do a correction already because they got facts wrong on it.

Seedy bars and strip clubs go together. You don't see either in upscale, higher end neighborhoods or anywhere near them. That goes everywhere.

Sure

Than he can produce receipts of visiting businesses in area

But we know we can't do that the one main reason he would be in the area is because of her at that time

They have phone records of him calling her and then showing up in the area 20 minutes after he calls her

The same types of phone records have been used many times to prove that killers and rapist have been lying

He also stated on the stand that phone records would not put him in the area before he was appointed

If a phone has GPS on it, you can know where that phone is to within about 25 feet.

If they can track a cell phone down to a trashcan, I'm betting anyone else with enough motivation can do the same.

I don't care who prosecutes Trump just as long as he is prosecuted?!! Ms. Willis has the option to step down and she can appoint her successor?!! I don't see why she should step down, her personal life has no bearing on Trump's and his cohorts case?!!

The Trump lawyers now need to subpoena Wade’s GPS records from his automobile.

Once again, cell phone records and car GPS records will be the evidence that convicts criminals.

OMG.. You just proved you have a sexual relationship with your mom since you call her before you show up at her house.

Calling someone before you are within 3 miles of their house doesn't prove anything. It doesn't even prove you were at their house.

“The records do nothing more than demonstrate that Special Prosecutor Wade’s telephone was located somewhere within a densely populated multiple-mile radius where various residences, restaurants, bars, nightclubs, and other businesses are located,” the prosecution filing said. “The records do not prove, in any way, the content of the communications between Special Prosecutor Wade and District Attorney Willis; they do not prove that Special Prosecutor Wade was ever at any particular location or address; they do not prove that Special Prosecutor Wade and District Attorney Willis were ever in the same place during any of the times” cited by Trump.

Prosecutors claimed that “multiple relevant dates and times” cited by the Trump filing as being times when Wade was near Willis’s condo, Willis was actually elsewhere, including at the district attorney’s office and “visiting the three crime scenes” associated with the March 2021 shootings at Atlanta-area spas. The 48-page filing includes dozens of pages of redacted emails sent by Willis, as well as pages from her work calendar that appear to be trying to rebut the claims.

You don't need GPS to track the 2 cell towers. They don't move. Using data where a phone pings a cell tower doesn't prove where the phone is and isn't GPS.
Cell tower pings don't prove location. There is a question as to how Trump's investigator even got the cell phone ping data since it requires a court order in order to legally get data that isn't anonymous.
