It was the conservatives contract with America that reformed welfare and brought jobs in the 90s....after a democrat president vetoed the bill 2 times before. It was democrat policies of making the banks lend money to unqualified democrat minority voters that resulted in the housing bubble...and then a democrat spent another 10 trillion dollars that resulted in doing nothing but reducing the Labor Force, placing more people on welfare..etc.,
