A question for JPP anti-Trump zealots

I don't know lol.

Do mean to imply Bush had nothing to do with the Katrina failure?

No - but why do you think the situations are comparable?

Bush appointed a crony w/ no experience to head FEMA, and when the local efforts were clearly failing, was very slow to react & lead.

Apparently Melania thought the stilettos were a bad idea, too, because she showed up in tennis shoes the next time!
no.she changed into tennis shoes before getting to Houston the first time.
She went with snake skin stilettos the next time leaving the white house.

I didn't see what she showed up in on that trip. I guess she likes to make a grand entrance/exit being a model and such

I don't fault Melania, I feel sorry for her, she is out of her element and hates it. He is horrible to her. I only wish her the best.

Its CAT 5 and bearing down on Puerto Rico as we speak. They've had to invent new color codes to symbolize the wind speed. Thanks climate science deniers. Thanks Big Oil.

Hurricanes have been around for hundreds of years, many with the same or stronger wind speeds, moron.

Trump and Obama both had the previous mistakes of Bush's weak response to Katrina to guide their disaster response decisions, so it's really a dumb question. Everybody now knows what kind of response is expected from our leaders by the public.

Trump did nothing out of genuine care or concern for the Harvey victims in Texas. He was there for the exact same reasons he does everything.... to create good PR.

And then, he even managed to screw that up....

Typical clueless fucking silver spoon idiot.
Gomad never fails to disappoint!

After attaining peak winds of 200 mph early this morning, Hurricane Patricia became the strongest storm ever recorded by the National Hurricane Center. It jumped to the top of a notorious list of the western hemisphere’s most vicious storms, dating back decades.
[‘Potentially catastrophic’ Patricia becomes strongest hurricane ever recorded, to slam Mexico today]
The record Patricia established spans not only hurricanes that impact western North America, but also those that impact eastern North America and the Caribbean.
The four storms which Patricia now looks down at are:

  • Hurricane Allen, 1980, peak winds of 190 mph (Caribbean and Gulf of Mexico)
  • Hurricane Wilma, 2005, peak winds of 185 mph (Caribbean and Gulf of Mexico)
  • Hurricane Linda, 1997, peak winds of 185 mph (Northeast Pacific)
  • Hurricane Gilbert, 1988, peak winds of 185 mph (Caribbean and Gulf of Mexico)
The unnamed hurricane of 1935 which struck the Florida Keys was also estimated to have peak winds of 185 mph. However, estimates of hurricane peaks winds prior to the 1970s are very uncertain as there were no weather satellites watching these storms.

Go back and read the article! The strongest from the Atlantic basin, outside of the Carribean and Gulf of Mexico. There may have been bigger storms, but they did not originate in the Atlantic basin!

Yes, but to claim it's the strongest hurricane in history is false. There have been stronger ones, regardless of their origination.

I did not make that claim, I posted an article of interest and found it fascinating that Irma is strongest to develop in Atlantic, you read too much into it.

This self-described "Super Moderator" is a super hypocrite.

Liberals love to screech in mock outrage over criticism of any leftist woman but they attack conservative women ceaselessly.

They do the same thing with minority conservatives.

Their alleged tolerance, inclusiveness and feminism are all a partisan sham.
