A president’s words matter

Medium long article, but makes many good points. In fact, I have made some of those points. As I can't stand it when people simply give a link, with nothing from the article, I will give you this part, it is only a part and it is a long article. Worth reading, IMO.

“There are reasons that presidents think about the words they’re uttering,” Frankel says. “It’s not just that people just love presidential rhetoric; it’s not just about writing a good speech for the sake of it. It’s about the effect your words can have in the real world. You tailor your speeches to achieve outcomes: to pass legislation; to make an argument to different members of Congress; to target different kinds of voters who can then pressure their members; to make a case to the country. A president’s words matter.”

true. Trump realizes this as well. Think of the unbelievable pressure it puts upon canada and mexico when he outright declares he will pull out of NAFTA. They have to reach a deal now or watch their currencies and economies plummet.

People underestimate trump but they forget he was the one who came up with low energy jeb lying ted and crooked hillary. Words that pretty much destroyed their campaigns. In the case of Jebe it may have destroyed his career. I dont think he can run again without being labelled low energy.
