Well, it's a bit like arguing with a Satanist or such. It seems to me that anyone, anywhere, who looks at the pronouncements of the candidates and of their supporters could see that the Republicans were eaten up with insane hatred of pretty well everyone and everything, especially education and intelligence. That is why they totally denied the obvious truth, as you are doing now, believing that it didn't matter compared with 'success'.

Would you mind clarifying that statement? If I am reading it as intended, it is a bit delusional. Perhaps I am reading it incorrectly.

The Republicans grovelled to a fat, spoilt, silly rich boy who lied all the time, and yet moaned and groaned about 'elitists'. As far as anyone could see, besides hating Mexicans, Muslims, 'Black' people and every one else not in the KKK, that seemed to mean anyone who could string a sentence together. You think otherwise? I said nothing about the Democratic Party, as you know, but I do know that Trump appealed to those like himself, the ignorant and semi-literate who cared nothing for truth or principle. That these people also hated the Democrat voters is a different issue.

I can you are as confused about the real voters as Hillary Clinton was. I am very shocked though, as a Democrat, that you would make this comment " but I do know that Trump appealed to those like himself, the ignorant and semi-literate who cared nothing for truth or principle." A vast maojority of Trump voters are middle class working folks. What the Democrats used to say they represented. And did not. So, my question to you is when they were voting Democrat, were they still " ignorant and semi-literate who cared nothing for truth or principle"?
