Lamin Manneh, 31, was charged with traveling across state lines and using the telephone and Internet to operate a prostitution business. He was arrested after officers from a human-trafficking task force found him outside a hotel room where his 19-year-old wife had agreed to have sex for cash with an undercover state police officer.

According to the indictment, Manneh's wife had entered into a "contract of slavery" with Manneh who she referred to as her "master."

Between February and May 9, prosecutors say, Manneh ran a call-girl business where his wife and another 19-year-old woman worked as prostitutes.

Yet here you are...

Nothing to say about the "contract of slavery" with Manneh whose wife referred to him as her "master?"

Just one of the "over the top", racist posts, following the article:
Spartacus > KubaNiski

"I don't hate them (blacks) . I just recognize them for the sub-human vermin that they are, and wish to wipe them off the face of the earth. But the wolves, to use your analogy, have not been let in, they've been brought in by jews, and does as well must be dealt with."

So this is the kind of justification you support in light of the topic? You just "outed" yourself as a bona fide racist and lowlife. No one is interested in reparations, btw.

Or I posted one of the sources I read from and even added a qualifier. You're quite quick to judge me and mine without taking a look at you and yours. What, because liberals hold the majority here their sources are impervious to scrutiny?

No one is interested in reparations, btw.

The National Coalition of Blacks for Reparations in America is a mass-based coalition organized for the sole purpose of obtaining reparations for African descendants in the United States.

Randall Robinson, whose book, "The Debt: What America Owes to Blacks", demanded "massive restitutions" to American blacks for slavery, insists that an apology is meaningless without reparations payments to African-Americans. "Much is owed, and it is very quantifiable," Mr. Robinson said.

Illinois Sen. Roland Burris (D) added: "I want to go on record making sure that that disclaimer in no way would eliminate future actions that may be brought before this body that may deal with reparations."

Poets ignorance exposed again, or "Poetic license" with the truth?

Or her calling him "Master" may be part of the dynamic of their relationship. If she entered into it willingly, then they are just one of many couples who enjoy such play.

As for the prostitution, I have long said it should not be illegal. I saw nothing in the article that suggested the women were held against their will.

I don't think the ladies had much of their own will to speak of. Judging by their ages, and the prostitution I'd say he mentally dominated them. Isnt that what all pimps seek to do?

He kept them high on drugs and stayed outside hotel rooms with a gun while they serviced men.

Is "potency" the issue? And can you substantiate your assertion that syntehtic marijuana is impotent?

If the claim is to be made that he kept them under control via drug use, then the potency is an issue.

I have seen no information that showed the synthetic marijuana caused serious addiction. And the addiction is the method used for control.

Besides, the article stated he only took a percentage of the other girl's money. It sounds like a typical arrangement. It also sounds like much ado about nothing.

Synthetic marijuana is not that potent.

Oops.

The "Oops" is that you, once again, selectively edited a quote. You neglected to post all of what I said.

When you do, you have the second sentence of "At least not when compared to typical drugs used to coerce women into prostituton."

And since those drugs used to coerce women into prostitution are MUCH more potent (ie heroin, meth, crack ect), my post stands.

LOL, you said "synthetic marijuana is not that potent".

It is potent, and dangerous. Were you lying, or just ignorant?

In the context of my statement, I am correct. It is not potent when compared to the drugs used to subdue and coerce women into prostitution.

If the use of the synthetic marijuana is the issue, why did you name the the thread "A new era in race relations"?
