I skimmed it enough to recognize it as something I have seen enough times. It's a sad story where accurate criticisms of the Fed are put into the cement boots of crazy and left to drown.

The Fed is not a private organization. Calling it that is far more absurd than calling the FM siblings, USPS or Amtrak private organizations. At best they are quasi private. But the Fed is far less private than those organizations.

You bury the merits in conspiracy and put a weight around their neck. If I did not know better, I might say it was a plot to dismiss criticisms of the Fed.
