Malaria? Beavis and/or Butthead?

The statute of limitations has long run out on any criminal charges like statutory rape, forcible or not. But civil liability has not. A conviction in a civil case would damage not just him but the Trump companies, both financially and in regards to PR.

Doubtful. I suspect he'd sell one or all of them to a slaver if the price was right.

Agreed on most criminal charges, but it varies by state. Agreed on civil liabilities. Trump really loves his money so that might explain his concern.

It doesn't explain why he bragged for 10 years about releasing the files and then a sudden 180 after Pammi and Kash gave him some info on the files.

And now he's once again weaponizing the DOJ to try to drag (D)s into it. If he did nothing wrong, why the frantic attempts to NOT release the files? Epstein was a financier. There are records going back years of transactions between him and the Toadstool. Perhaps it's not sexual peccadillos but something financially corrupt/criminal, like money laundering and tax evasion? I don't think there's a statute of limitations on tax evasion.

He's becoming crazier than Sybil to think that opening an investigation into Democrats on the Epstein Files won't open all the Epstein Files in a court case.

Agreed on that financial corruption might be at the root of Trump's worries. I've always thought that he was laundering money through his casinos. Trump always fancied himself a "mob boss" and often runs TrumpCo like a Mob Family. Why not run his casinos the same way?

That might explain why he supported releasing the Epstein Files when he thought it was only about sex but did a 180 when it was pointed out he could be nailed for financial corruption and tax evasion....just like his hero Al Capone. LOL

Which is exactly why POTUS historically have not raced into Natural Disaster areas, allowing Emergency Services and FEMA to get in and do their job first to stabilize the area with the POTUS coming in after. That is because any POTUS or even former POTUS with their SS detail sucks in a ton of emergency resources when they fly into an area. Airport are closed or traffic limited while they fly in. Roads are closed. Local law enforcement is required to work with the SS to go over security plans.

Absolutely what you do not want in a natural disaster and yet Trump had no problem doing that in Bidens term and you magats criticized Biden for not doing it.

Mr. Owl reads the WSJ like some people read their daily devotions. He's mentioned that it's been known for decades that Trump's business dealings are crooked, that he has borrowed heavily from Russia, and used DeutscheBank, among others, for money laundering. It took a pretty brave NYS AG to hang him on at least some of his fraudulent practices. And now he's going after her, which explains why others have been reluctant to prosecute.

Did you know he has NO IDEA who he is signing pardons for or if he even did it?

There can be only three answers for that.

- Dementia where he was told and signed and forgot after.

- autopen use where he does not know what is in the stake of pardons he is using it and signing

- someone else is doing the pardons for him and he is unaware and they are afixing his signature

The last two are what they basically say was happening with Biden. Do you think it is one of those last two with Trump or the first one?

If you say none of those options provide another way that pardon could have got signed with Trump having no clue who the person is.
