A little rain and wind...

there are going to be a shit load of downed trees and powerlines all over the place.

Men puffing out their chests and rambling on about how they wouldnt be skeerd is just so boring

sorry I am not old. I am in the prime of my life and I'm TOUGH and I don't die during storms like stupid old people.

I saw two guys puffing out their chests.

To tell you the truth I didnt even pay attention to who was doing it.

I just get fucking sick of guys swinging their balls arround to seek a way to talk about how big their balls are.

Just fucking tell us how big your balls are and how proud of your balls you are and spare us the instults to people protecting themselves so you can talk about your balls.

Fucking get it?

someones jealous.

You dokes are facing a world where we women out number you.

Your going to have to learn how to deal with it.

wether you like it or not.

and dealing with it is not making you jealous of our massive manly balls and sheer fearlessness?

NEW YORK — Forecasters say Hurricane Sandy has picked up a little strength and is making a turn toward a projected landfall on or near the southern coast of New Jersey.

The National Hurricane Center said Monday morning the storm's top sustained winds had risen to near 90 mph (150 kph), with higher gusts.

The storm's center is about 260 miles (415 kilometers) south-southeast of New York City and expected to make landfall Monday evening or night along or just south of the southern New Jersey coast.

Sandy is on track to collide with a wintry storm moving in from the west and cold air streaming down from the Arctic. The combination superstorm could menace some 50 million people in the most heavily populated corridor in the nation, from the East Coast to the Great Lakes.

I think this is the last time I need to look in on this board. I checked in here before my power goes out to see how others on the east coast are doing and what they are saying.

The dregs of humanity post here. That's what I found.

The thread was started by a climate change denier who will kill us all before it's said and done, and a bunch of as you correclty noted, chest thumping idiots chimed in.

I really wanted to see how everyone else was doing. What a joke.

Yes, you are a fucking joke. Right along with Desh.

The OP said what again?

and they shut the markets for the day? They sure make them weak on the east coast.

Seriously though, for all in harms way... batten down the hatches, this one is gunna be a doooooooooozy. Be safe.

But yeah, morons like Desh and Darla want to go drama queens on us and pretend we are just thumping our chests. Sarcasm is lost on the morons.

Do us a favor Darla, since you think so highly of the board... stay the fuck off it as you continually proclaim you are going to do. Then the quality will surely rise.

stay safe girlfriend

Thanks Desh! I will. I worry about those with no resources especially those in the likely flood areas. The most that will happen to me, probably, will be that i lose power for several days, a week. I can deal. Unless I get hit by a stray tree or debris! You never know, but the upside of that will be that I will never have to hear a right wing meathead rant again. There's always a silver lining!

I did the same thing and feel the same way about this place.

As far as the storm I feel like a sitting duck. We have low land with a year round stream...we get everyones runoff and we'll flood. I can't tell what the rain amount is going to be...will it be 4, 6, 8 or 10 inches? Don't really know. I just hope the buildings, horses and ourselves stay above water...i don't know what will happen...
