Former Vice President
One prediction on impeachment after another gone down in flames by JPP leftists. It is embarrassing for them. Yes they are thread banned because I don't give a rip what they think about it. Their quotes are their quotes

I LOVE the smell of panic stricken Russian trolls in the morning lol

party's over for Trump and his chumps

they actually believed Barr could get away with this

we might have to wait until he and his boss Trump are gone before prosecution, but his time on the docket will come

Unless there is some very vulgar treason or action that is particularly dangerous to the security of the American State, I think it is better not to impeach the trader Trump.

We have a sickness in our nation, after seeing the crowd in Tampa shoot the finger at the Media, yell obscenities and promote the Q conspiracy theories I am dismayed at how a large group of Americans have lost any bit of decorum or ability to behave with a modicum of dignity or self-respect. They also have never been taught a speck of critical thinking skills. This clanish thug behavior is infecting some minority, but more of a minority than any other modern time. If the United States is to survive as an example of how to shine for much of the uneducated world we cannot allow this group to grow. Many nations, mostly poor ones with inferior education systems are stuck in the vice grip of this type of mob rule, electing leaders who chose power over intelligence and personal gain over national pride. We have come a long way from, "Ask now what your country can do for you, ask what you can do for your country."

Impeaching Trader Trump would only poke this bear. Sadly, I think the way to handle them is to ignore them and let them fade into history. You can never prove them wrong with logic, or any other method, they simply feel entitled to be right and therefore they believe they are right, facts no longer fit into the equation. Its not new or limited to political party, consider the birther movement, or even further back those who believed GWB knew ahead of time about the 9-11 attacks. The difference is that this time they eked out a win at the presidential level. An accident of history allowed one of them to become president.

America is strong and built to withstand this, four years of tyrannical behavior in the oval office is not enough to dismantle the democratic institutions (deep state) that were designed to protect us. We have a Congress that, while Majority Republican, has refused to give the despot much in the way of significant legislative wins and a Court system that has throttled his most radical efforts. We will soon right the ship, correct the course and move forward, but an impeachment just might be enough to cement the minority of rubes in a permanent violent rebellious frame. As I learned when a former poster on this board told me he and his like minded American brotheren would put a bullet in my head if I kept spouting liberal ideas, violence is the result of this groups realization that they have lost the logic argument. For many of them there is no hope that a renewed renaissance will teach them reason and logic, they are lost to the teachings of Copernicus or Montaigne much less Rojas or Avila. This minority, when confronted with a logic based reality will only grow violent and angry, not more reasonable or intelligent. Let the checks and balances of our government work their designed effect, allow the system to even itself out and as designed the majority will (I think) right the ship.

Don't impeach Trader Trump, let him fade away.

The first step should be and pitching Bob Barr for not doing his job. It is clear he lied about the Mueller report. That would be enough for Congress to hire him.

In just about 3 weeks we will all know everything we need to know.................

........To understand why Donald Trump Impeachment hearings will start immediately!

And the Republican Senators will join in on the impeachment or die inevitable political certain deaths!

U.S. Sen. Debbie Stabenow says she supports impeachment inquiry

U.S. Sen. Debbie Stabenow, D-Michigan, says she supports an impeachment investigation into President Donald Trump.

“The Mueller report describes extremely serious instances of the President of the United States trying to obstruct justice," Stabenow said in a statement obtained by MLive. "I support the ongoing investigations in the House of Representatives and would stand with my colleagues in the House if they decide to launch a formal impeachment inquiry. No one is above the law.”

Stabenow, the No. 4 Democrat in the Senate, released the statement after Robert Mueller testified before Congress last week and after U.S. Sen. Patty Murray of Washington, the No. 3 Senate Democrat, threw her weight behind an impeachment inquiry.

Stabenow and Murray are now the two highest-ranking senators to call for impeachment hearings.

"if the Democrats win control of the House in November, the chamber will vote on whether to begin the impeachment process no matter the outcome of Mr. Mueller’s investigation."

Unless it becomes clear that Rump would be removed, and with the Democrats in control of the House of Representatives, you will not see a move toward impeachment unless Rump is reelected.

24 months is not too long to wait for a new Democratic President.

wow...…..only one t to cross - McGhan's testimony

and even if Trump succeeds in blocking McGhan's testimony, the impeachment process will continue

btw, all the major banks have given the House Trump/Russian bank records, though Trump has spent millions trying to stop them

he's fucked

and announce her position on impeachment since Mueller dropped the hammer

hoping she goes with impeachment, hazardous to Dem chances next year if she doesn't

Congressman Mark Pocan says it has “moved us an hour closer to midnight.”

Trump Impeachment Clock Ticks as Poll Shows Just 29% Approve of Comey Firing
Trump's firing of his FBI director last week has only increased concerns of his ability to govern

With a new poll of U.S. voters on Sunday showing that less than one-third support his abrupt ouster of FBI Director James Comey last week, the talk of impeaching President Donald Trump and demands for a special prosecutor to investigate possible ties between his campaign and alleged Russian interference in last year's election have reached their highest levels to date.

The new NBC-Wall Street Journal poll released Sunday shows that only 29% of all respondents approved of Comey's firing while over 50% percent of those who said they knew "a lot" about how those events unfolded said they disapprove of the president's behavior.

"Arguably he's already obstructed justice and already violated the emoluments clause. I'm not saying we should impeach him now, I'm calling for an impeachment investigation."
—History professor Allan Lichtman

With Comey's controversial dismissal coinciding with a new round of opinion polls that show Trump's approval ratings stuck at historically low levels, a survey from Quinnipiac last week showed that the top three words that popped into respondents' heads when asked to describe President Trump were: 'idiot'; 'incomepetent'; and 'liar'—in that order.

In the wake of Comey's firing and Trump's subsequent explanation last week, Rep. Mark Pocan (D-Wis.) said Trump's firing of Comey reminded him of the so-called "Doomsday Clock," a project run by the Bulletin of Atomic Scientists which seeks to warn the world about the encroaching threat of nuclear and other forms of human annihilation. "Maybe we should start an impeachment [clock]," Pocan tweeted. "This moved us an hour closer to midnight."

In a widely-circulated op-ed written by Laurence Tribe on Saturday, the Harvard constitutional law professor explained why the prospect of impeachment proceedings should now be front and center. According to Tribe, though Trump's firing of Comey is itself troubling, the case against Trump goes well beyond that.

"Even without getting to the bottom of what Trump dismissed as 'this Russia thing,'" writes Tribe, "impeachable offenses could theoretically have been charged from the outset of this presidency. One important example is Trump’s brazen defiance of the foreign emoluments clause, which is designed to prevent foreign powers from pressuring U.S. officials to stray from undivided loyalty to the United States. Political reality made impeachment and removal on that and other grounds seem premature." But, he adds, "No longer. To wait for the results of the multiple investigations underway is to risk tying our nation’s fate to the whims of an authoritarian leader."

On Friday, Allan Lichtman, a professor of history at American University who correctly predicted Trump's presidential victory, similarly told Newsweek magazine that there is no longer reason to hold off talk of impeachment.

Not impeaching him will guarantee loss of seats for the GOP.
You don't seem to realize how severe the situation is.
What do think the rank and file GOP is scared of?

New York Times reporter and CNN contributor Maggie Haberman appeared on New Day Friday morning and revealed insight into the current turmoil in Washington D.C.

Calling it a “critical moment,” Haberman reported that there was waning support for Trump from the right, saying “A number of conservatives who worked on the campaign and supported the president and now say, you know, I regret doing that, and this was a mistake, this administration is, you know, off the rails, and all of these investigations that are coming to a head will be a huge problem.”

She adding that these conservatives “disgusted” with details that have emerged from the Michael Cohen plea deal. In her eyes, investigations into Trump’s campaign are ” going to intensify as we get into the year” before bringing up impeachment. “It takes 20 Republican senators to vote in favor of impeachment. This could be a critical moment.”

Poll: Support for Trump's impeachment surges
President-Donald-Trump-1.jpg

With controversies and Russian investigations mounting, an increasing number of Americans support impeaching President Donald Trump.

According to a new POLITICO/Morning Consult poll, 43 percent of voters now want Congress to move toward impeaching the 45th president of the United States, up 5 percentage points from just a week prior.

Possible White House shakeup could reach Priebus

The majority of those who want the president impeached, 54 percent, believe he has "proven he is unfit to serve and should be removed from office, regardless of whether he committed an impeachable offense or not," according to the poll.
The president has been battling impeachment threats since early on in his administration. But as investigations into potential colluding between Russia and the Trump campaign in the 2016 election continue to expand, calls for impeachment, which were once viewed as fringe arguments, have started to gain serious mainstream traction.

It does not look good for the orange clown.

the GOP is desperate to lure Democrats into their "see they're just out to get back at Trump for beating Hillary!" trap.....give the base some bloody red meat, fire em all up

plus an impeachment effort would suck all the air out of the room for months, then end with the Senate refusing to convict and the base riled up for daddy once again

nice work Nancy, WELCOME ABOARD!
