I figured that was it. We could probably use one permanent base over there. I think it should be in Germany, though, just to remind them who their daddy is, and that they are still an occupied nation of losers. Also, when our boys go out and sleep with the local population of women, it adds to my previous statement.

The problem with the military industrial establishment is that it employs a vast army of workers. To support it. That is a great source of political support for increasing military spending. Pacticularly in the south.

I can't help thinking that much of the military spending is a form of subsidisation which keeps the unemployment figures down.
