A&E suspended Phil Robertson

take a look at this board Rana... he stated his religious beliefs... the bigots like Howey etc... are clear for all to see.

A&E has a right to suspend him. His family has a right to pull the highly successful show from the bigots at A&E. People have the right to stop watching A&E if they so choose.

This wasn't a business decision, it was a PC decision. This will hurt their business, not help it.

So does A&E... and they will actually be the ones that suffer. Phil could give a crap about A&E. As he stated, it is a TV show, it wasn't going to last forever and his family already has a massive following due to the show.

A&E knows the family is a fundamentalist Christian family... that is the part that is so amusing. So why do they not cancel the show? Oh yeah, because A&E makes money off of the Robertsons.

He adds, "They're singing and happy. I never heard one of them, one black person, say, 'I tell you what: These doggone white people'—not a word!... Pre-entitlement, pre-welfare, you say: Were they happy? They were godly; they were happy; no one was singing the blues."


It wasn't just the homophobic remark it was many things he said in the article!

They won't suffer, they will find another reality show to replace this one! If they thought it was for business, they wouldn't have done it.

I respect his right to say what he believes, I also respect A&E right to suspend him. This will help their ratings not hurt it! Are the other family members leaving the show?

Phil always puts his foot in his mouth and many times is forced to apologize, but this time he is not backing down which is good. He has to stand by the Scriptures he preaches.
