I think the governors on the GOP side are all pretty sharp. When I watch the debates, I feel like Christie, Kasich & Bush all come across as the most experienced & intelligent.
But America is such a simplistic nation when it comes to this stuff. George Bush had absolutely no substance to his campaign; Obama was just "hope and change"; now you have Trump, who seems to mesmerize people by saying "we're going to have amazing healthcare" and no details beyond that.
I'm amazed that Kasich hasn't caught on more. Incredible track record.
Yes,an amazing track record. First tried to break Unions. With 1.3 million petitions firefighters delivered him a message put on the ballot, he was soundly rejected. Said," the People have spoken
Then cut Education to the bone to fund his Charter School buddies. Cut so deep his own Legislature went against him. Put the money back in the budget.
His Charter Schools have a scandal a week with Administrators absconding with tax payer dollars, faking tests, failing grades.
This last one is a really big one. The Administrator applied for Federal funds. His petition was full of lies. So much he was fired. The Federal Government found out, have now with held $71 million dollars of your tax money.
He beat Strickland by 2%, proclaimed a landslide in the depths of the Bush recession.
The economy is better, now that the economy is improving, but we are still behind.
Ohio has been gerrymandered so bad that republicans are putting a committee on the ballot. They admitted how bad it is.
Kasich did get elected to a second term because he accepted Medicaid money. Our schools and lovpcal Governments, infrastructure falling apart . Kasich cut out the income tax, raised taxes on purchases that hurt the Middle class and poor. Now,sitting on a surplus that his Legislature has begged him to use some ot it to fund the Schools, but he wants to look good running for President.
Oh,yes, school bo looks, good Christian man.
Vote for him if you wish. I will not.
