A Chrisitmas Eve Story in Modern America.

It actually happened... I'm not a good enough writer to have made it up.

C'mon now.
You did pretty good making up the one about your imaginary friend, that got imaginary kiddie porn, with his imaginary E-Mail, at his imaginary job and the imaginary Police questioned him. :palm:

Nice attempt at trolling GayRod.

What is puzzling about this story is why you didn't call the police. It is clear this was assault with a deadly weapon and the individual sounds a bit unhinged. Why would you leave. Him to possibly harm someone else?

It was fine. But odd. It is odd to everybody and that is why nobody believes it off the bat. They can't put themselves into the place of a paranoid weirdo who would pretend to be trying to hit you with a car. None of them have met with it.

The largest oddity is your assumption that this is some type of "norm" that everybody will have to deal with. Your neighborhood has some weird folk in it, this isn't some new "norm" that we all face. I love the "I'm sure he plans on voting for Trump" and the "he tried to kill me!" touch. The way you try to make it seem like all Trump voters own guns and want to kill you personally due to some paranoia that nobody has...

Your story strikes me as wholly made up... maybe based off of one tiny kernel of truth... he pulled over as you were walking back to talk to you and you thought he was driving at you because he pulled form the right lane to the left to roll his window down or something. The paranoia was yours but you thought you could get away with blaming Trump for what you wanted us to perceive as bad action.

Don't they? ;)

I worried that it was just my warped perception until he came over to apologize.
