Um, I've read quite a bit about both RUssia and China's versions. You may wish to relabel according to 'results' but that is the bill of goods those people were sold and their 'wealth' was redistributed and they were treated with Communistic principles. Unfortunately, the elite, ruling class remained and lived apart.

It is a failed system, no one doubts that and human nature will always prevent its success.

Guff. Socialism is rule by working people. Neither of those states had anything to do with working people, as you know. We must establish socialism within three generations or die, and that is a fact, unlike 'human nature', which is another version of original sin, archaic bilge.

Now you are spinning that you aren't against all deregulation and that it's a natural part of upgrading a system.

He was pointing out that two of the past three Dem Presidents were big on deregulation. You always try to make it about one party OR the other. His point to you was that it was BOTH parties that deregulated. A FACT you never can seem to grasp.

No socialist system has ever been allowed to work. The capitalists send armies to kill 'em, - Paris Commune - Bavaria, Hungary and Spain (at a push) are the obvious examples. Where the Party was strong enough to prevent your masters from making them dead, they adopted state capitalism, whereby the state becomes a (normally fairly inefficient) capitalist firm. We either take the capitalists' popguns away or they kill us. Obvious if you read some history.
