Well to address some of these points.

#1. To a degree I do believe that Ryan spoke without thinking that his comments were racist. It has been a political strategy of the GOP for a long time to create divisions between rural folk and urban. They like to paint a stereotype of urban people being these lazy atheist liberals who live off the sweat of the brow of hard working, God fearing country folk. If Ryan's comments weren't racist and pointed specifically at blacks they're still inexcusably bigoted as his stereotype is intended to further the division his party is attempting, with a large degree of success, between rural and urban folk. Former SOS Powell pointed that bigoted aspect of GOP strategy as a reason why he endorse Obama for President. That was exactly what Ryan was declaring here and his just so happens that the scope of his comments include blacks who, in the industrial Midwest, just happen to live in urban region. To put it simply Ryan is saying that rural fold are better than urban folk.

#2. Mr. Swanson may be right about Disney. It's pretty obvious that Mickey Mouse is fucking Goofy!

#3. Pat Robertson may be right. Tell me that "Mars Needs Mom's" wasn't made by the devil!

More later.

Izzat so? Remind me again who made the divisive remark about those who "cling to their guns and Bibles."

I'm an urban Republican Christian and have had a steady job since I was 12. There are quite a few of us. Stop making shit up.

Regarding #1, I think it's disturbing that comments like Ryan's just roll off their tongues and it takes public outrage before they get a clue. How could anybody not know those comments are inflammatory? It's like stereotypes are coded in their DNA. Ryan's just another white-bread, college-educated individual who's clueless about social intelligence.

Funny you deride stereotypes then proceed to use one. Ironic huh?

Right because your side never does that with your "trailer park" cracks. Spare me your feigned indignation
