BOULDER, Colo. – Authorities in Colorado are searching for eight people who didn't leave their homes as a wildfire tore through a canyon in the foothills near Boulder.

This kind of stupidity boggles the mind. What do people think they are going to accomplish by staying behind? Other than detracting from efforts to fight the fire by diverting manpower to a search and rescue effort? Reminds me of the idiots that refused to leave New Orleans.
