As I said, if the facts were there McCarthy would have had a full House vote to begin the impeachment inquiry, just as any other impeachment inquiry started, but he couldn’t put it up for a vote knowing it would not pass even with a GOP held majority

Being "too old" at those advanced ages IS NOT just a function of years and Trump knows that.

Being 77 and obese is more of a risk factor than being 80 and not obese, so Trump knows if Biden is too old then he, Trump is too.


Trump is also aware that is demonstrable fact that he shows more signs of dementia than Biden does. So Trump knows he needs to steer the conversation away from age.
