72% approve of Biden's SOTU speech

"More than 7 in 10 viewers of President Biden’s State of the Union address had at least a somewhat positive reaction to the speech, according to a CNN flash poll."

It's a CNN poll reported by the Hill...lol

Glad to expose the lie that it is a poll by The Hill.

Poor, sad pEarl and his impotent groans.

I know that. My own article made that point.

But so you agree that any claims made on this board or elsewhere that Biden's speech was a disaster, or even subpar, are wholly without merit.
Like any of those useless speeches the opposition will make claims that the speech was full of lies, exaggerations , and/or significant omissions , and they’re probably somewhat right.
Republicans will always say it was a disaster if given by a democrat and dems will always say it’s a disaster if given by a Republican.
As far as subpar, that is relative, don’t you think?
Compared to a Jimmah Cahtah, probably about par. Compared to a Kennedy or Reagan, far below par.
I didn’t watch, never do, so I’m in no position to judge.
That said, Biden in general doesn’t give particularly inspiring speeches, especially in the last three years.

He seems to be about on the level of GWB

The amount of Trumper butthurt from a 72% approval rating, which is average, is expected. These dumbfucks are never happy with anything unless it's the Capitol being burned to the ground and Trump crowned emperor.

I am astounded that a guy who supposedly suffers from acute dementia is able to give a well received nationally televised speech.

I'd hate to think MAGAs were lying their flabby asses off about Biden's mental acuity.

He also got them to publicly admit that they're not going to touch SS or Medicare -- even better! lol

Biden has been routinely underated at least as far back to when Teabaggers were chuckling at how bad Paul Ryan was supposedly going to mop the floor with Biden at the VP debate.

I still can't get over Sarah's rebuttal.

I thought that we were done with that ridiculous broad for good.
I guess that there are still a few more laughs on the horizon.

CNN polled the 9 democrats who watched the SOTU on CNN and found that 7 out of 9 loved it all, and the other two just didn't like 28%. They did let them vote as many times as they wanted, so, at least there were more than 9 responses...

I believe that mainstream sources of "news" (read: opinion editorials) are going the way of the buggy whip.

Meanwhile, Mega-Trumpist Steve Bannon suggested Sarah Huckabee Sanders GOP response was a disaster and she came across as an intellectual lightweight
Did he not see her as the Press Secretary? This is new to him? She’s always been an intellectual lightweight and a heavyweight liar.
