Makes sense. The FBI seems to have been caught unaware that a Trumpist seditious insurgency and coup was being plotted for J6.
The FBI knows, but Trump's henchmen and appointees stopped the FBI from doing anything. Note that the FBI directors, appointed by Trump, report to the Attorney General...also appointed by Trump.

This is the main reason why I think Garland hasn't filed charges against Trump; they fear the optics due to the previously weaponized use of the DOJ.
