The Estonians are overjoyed to have foreign troops on their soil, to help defend from being really occupied. With Iraq, we are keeping out of Iraqi affairs, and in the deep desert, with the permission of the Iraqi Government.

I know real Estonians, and real Poles, and they are overjoyed to be free of Soviet domination. They enjoy their new, free lives in the EU. They do not want to be invaded by Putin.

There is a reason that Sweden and Finland have joined NATO, and it is not because the US invented their governments. In fact, their governments started a long time ago without any interference from the USA. Sweden has a continual government that goes back to before Columbus. These countries want to be part of NATO to preserve their freedom, not because they were forced.
