This is an interesting poll from a variety of fronts. Both sides can find something to take away and harp on
For example, only 7% of Americans think illegal immigration is a problem in the US. 64% thinks it is a serious or somewhat serious problem. Those are pretty overwhelming majorities.
The country is fairly split on the wall.
Most importantly (and I am right as always) nobody is being impacted by the government shut down. You can decide who you think that hurts. But, more than 75% of people aren't being impacted so the shut down is not having the democrat party desired effect
