We didn't fight Iraqis for 7 years. We trained Iraqis for most of that time. We did fight terrorist thugs and radical Islamists... is that what you're talking about?
Bravo is correct, it took us about 21 days to topple Saddam's Republican Guard and control the capitol. At THAT point, the "War with Iraq" was over.

That is a crock of shit. We still had heavy fighting into late 2006 early 2007. It wasn't until the surge, combined with the Sunni uprising against Al Queda that the war wound down. Stating that it was only 21 days is a fucking hack job.

were we at war with the iraq government? you do realize that technically, the war was indeed over and it became a guerrilla campaign....the geneva convention even spells this out....japan surrendered and the war ended...however, we still had small battles or skirmishes in japan after they surrendered....that is not considered part of the war

um...you do realize we handed over power back in 2003 or 2004....there was no one left of saddam's government to sign a surrender treaty with....nice try...and btw...you're absolute wrong that all hostilities ended in germany and japan....try boning up on your history and perhaps you'll take a different view that you have now

Wrong. The war was not over just because we formed a transitional government. But if you want to get technical, the transitional government was not formed until 2 months after the invasion began. So either way, the 21 day claim is nonsense.
That said, back to your being wrong. At the earliest, the War could be declared 'over' when the Iraqi people elected a new government... that was in 2006 if I recall correctly. But realistically it was when the Sunni population rose up against Al Queda that it truly was over with respect to the US led coalition vs. remnants of the previous regime.

Bush STARTED a full scale war, complete with a Hirohito sneak attack where no war existed. Libya is more like Kosovo, intervention by the international community because the government is at war with the Libyan people. But nuance is not your thing, it is devoid in the right wing pea.
