The problem is it didn't make your point. It showed how stupid your point was. Parents can't dictate what is taught or how it is taught. Just because you live in the country you can't direct your builder to put 1/2" siding on with 1/2" nails. What you are proposing is that no one will build your house and no one will teach your children. You will end up doing the work yourself and you will have a house that won't stand up to a 10mph wind or a child that can't function in society.
