The IPCC's reports are politically driven to create a crisis that doesn't exist for the purposes of furthering the power, influence, and wealth of those making the predictions.

Simple. Climate change isn't primarily anthropogenic. That's a fact. Second, the solutions to what change is anthropogenic should be soundly based on science and engineering principles. That means adopting nuclear and natural gas, and going to hydrogen or anhydrous ammonia as our portable fuel. Abandoning the idiotic solutions the retards on the Left want of solar, wind, and batteries should be immediate and permanent.

The catastrophe we face is one of the ignorant and ill-informed setting the goals and agenda of what should be done. AOC and her ilk need a good bitch slapping and told to STFU because they don't even know enough to understand how a fucking garbage disposal works or why a light bulb lights up. Who in their right mind would listen to such dumb fucks on anything technical?

Climate change: At-risk nations fear extinction after IPCC report

Nations vulnerable to climate change have warned they are on the "edge of extinction" if action is not taken.

The warning by a group of developing countries comes after a landmark UN report argued that global warming could make parts of the world uninhabitable.

World leaders including UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson have called the report a "wake-up call to the world".

But some of the strongest reaction to its findings has come from countries that are set to be the worst hit.

"We are paying with our lives for the carbon someone else emitted," said Mohamed Nasheed, a former Maldives president who represents almost 50 countries that are vulnerable to the effects of climate change.

The Maldives is the world's lowest-lying country and Mr Nasheed said the projections by UN's Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) would be "devastating" for the nation, putting it on the "edge of extinction".
