50 dead and 200 wounded in Las Vegas shootings

Because he was always making bold assertions about Trump right back to last year and the December surprise.

I say this in a spirit of constructive criticism, Corazón, and I believe you will receive it in an adult manner:

That ship has sailed. The bloom is off that particular rose. It's past its sell-by date.

It might be more topical and effective to find something a bit fresher to mock him with. Christ knows he spoils us for choice.

Just my opinion, old boy. Take it or leave it.

I know for a fact you're no authority on the subject.

What are you basing your opinion on?

If I can link 3 attacks that ISIS falsely claimed responsibility for, will you post that you generally voice ideas that are based on nothing, and that you basically just say stuff without knowing if it's true?

Since 1934, it was almost impossible to legally buy or own an automatic weapon because of the exorbitantly high prohibitive tax stamp. Since May of 1986, it became impossible to legally buy an automatic weapon manufactured after May of 1986, as it became prohibited by law. That left the LEGAL number of machine guns in civilian hands at an estimated 250,000 and the price tag for a legal automatic at around 24k to 30k. So the argument should be 'how did this guy get a full auto when it's practically impossible to buy one?'

It should be every freedom loving Americans DUTY to own at least one of them to uphold the US Constitution against all enemies, foreign AND domestic. Therefore, I support owning them.

it is impossible, at least at this point, to call this a fact. Stop putting out misinformation.

I wonder why they would target my year and month of birth for their tyranny? :(

If only they would have been armed. They could have picked that guy off and saved themselves.

Exactly . I am always armed. I am armed now. Does that make me safe? No. It gives me a better chance of survival. Nothing guarantees safety.

Watch this, and imagine what might have transpired if the man calling out the shooter had a weapon of his own:

I could be wrong but I don't think ISIS makes false claims in that regard.

If someone can prove me wrong, that's fine.

I agree.

Just a couple of things of note. If this guy were anyway linked to the right it would be nonstop on the news right now.

I am inclined to believe that it is ISIS related which would be game changing on many fronts and would highlight the danger of islum

What is it about that ideology that can be so seductive to people to cause them to do things like this.

Again it is still early but I can’t remember a time ISIS took credit for something they weren’t responsible for.

We will be able to tell by the posts of the left shortly.

Sure, the ones that are legally bought...

Do you think mass murderers tend to be honest law abiding citizens?

if there are websites out there selling auto sears and kits without the ATF being able to know or do anything about it, why do we have the ATF? For that matter, all I would need is a a metal press, mill, and grinder and I could make a sear. should we prohibit all private metalworking?

If?

Do it.

Nut up, put up, or shut up, little Thingy.

My opinion was based on past experiences. I just don't recall ISIS making Willy-nilly claims for every massacre that comes down the pike.

And it turns out I was more right than wrong:

"A simple tabulation of past claims of responsibility for attacks in the West shows that Isis has been surprisingly disciplined in only claiming attacks that the terror group has either directed, enabled or else inspired," Rukmini Callimachi, a New York Times correspondent focusing on Isis and al-Qaeda, told The Independent.

She added: "A large share of attacks now are inspired by the terror group. They are carried out by attackers who imbibed the ideology online, as opposed to carried out by the terror group's own personnel.

"What people seem to not understand is that an inspired attack is an attack by the terror group."

Thank you for your candor.

It's not going to happen, but at least you are honest about your intentions. Kudos.

Let's talk about this: "ban the advertising and sale of anything that facilitates or makes easier, the possibility of committing mass shootings, including large ammo clips, automatic conversion kits, armor piercing ammo, etc, etc, etc. Have a dept to where websites that violate the ban can be reported and then shut down"

Do you think the gang-bangers who seem to commit most gun homicides use advertising to compare prices and then purchase their guns from retail outlets?

Because not even a liberal is that stupid, let's extrapolate what that would mean.

You would deprive all Americans of their right to bear arms on the off chance that it could potentially stop gun homicides - right?

Would that be like banning the manufacture, marketing and sale of cars because a few people might use them to commit crimes?

BTW, don't more people die as a result of auto crashes? Or drowning?

I also have noticed a marked lack of reaction from the left when a shooter is black or Muslim. Is that just my imagination?

Think about it before you answer.

:tardthoughts:

Yep, there it is. The always predictable and absurd analogy to cars. The dumbfuck barrel-strokers try it every time.

It failed the first few thousand times, cretin. It doesn't improve with age.

"Imagine" and "might". lol

The magic words of losers.

so do you think that going the Britain route of knife control will work in this country?
