Does the media coverage bother anyone else?

I get it - it's a big story, obviously. But they really go into overdrive on these shootings, and it becomes a 24x7 saturation event - interviewing everyone who the shooter could have known, looking at every aspect of his life, going over every survivor story, etc.

With some perpetrators having a narcissistic element to their personality, you have to wonder if this kind of predictable splash in the media is somehow complicit.

Let’s be clear. They go overboard on SOME events not ALL. As soon as it was learned that Hodgekinson was a Bernie loyalist the Scalise shooting was off the air in two days and they moved on to other things.

This is nothing more than pushing their anti gun agenda

I think that's oversimplifying it. I'll grant that most media tilts left and anti-gun is part of the agenda, but I think events like this become more about the sensationalism for them. It's about keeping viewers tuned in more than anything.

It's worse when the suspect is Muslim or black. They not only report 24/7, they also take camera's into the suspects home and shows his drivers liscense and other personal effects, they arrest family members as co-conspirators, then start looking for ways to ban Muslims or arrest Blacks.

This guy got it easy. His brother is able to tell his side of the story without be a co conspirator.
