DePape also did not leave after Pelosi called 911, because he felt that “much like the American founding fathers with the British, he was fighting against tyranny without the option of surrender,” according to DePape’s statement to San Francisco police.

He clearly meant to torture her.
 
She was in Washington, she was not in any danger. Had she been home there would have been extensive security meaning again that she would not be in any danger.

I'm kidding of course. They're going to spew their propaganda. The truth is too hard for them to handle - that they not only supported a violent coup, but the attack on Pelosi proves the trumptards are the violent ones. It kills their argument that there's a BLM rioter under everyone's bed waiting to murder them.
