After a year and a half you still don't understand that morbidities play the largest role in the severity of this? THOSE are the folks at risk.
If you have no morbidities you become one of the 99.8% of survivors...like myself.

You have no conscience if you are so quick to write off hundreds of thousands of American deaths. Yes, you had it. Over 98% survival rate, 75% chance of no long COVID. Thank God for your good fortune. Your callous disregard for the 1% is unChristian, same for those 25% suffering from Long COVID.
If the US death rate was the same in 2020 as it was in previous years, you'd have a case. Since there's a clear spike in deaths with COVID, only a fool would disregard the facts.

We start with Hawkeye saying our leaders betrayed us, and then when I say trump did not betray us on Covid-19, but should have done a better job, it suddenly becomes no ones fault again.
trump was completely unprepared for this, even though everyone begged him to be prepared. The big thing at first was testing. trump failed to push testing, but he did push the narrative that this is nothing.
The Delta Variant may have come from India, but I have never heard anyone else claim it came from South or Central America. There is not much of a link between India and Latin America. My guess would be it traveled from the USA to Latin America, not the reverse.
Gasoline prices are lower than when Bush was President. They are high now, because trump allowed oil prices to go negative. No one wants to invest in something that can go negative like that. We cannot blame the Delta Variant for that.
