4th Amendments thoughts...

the legal argument that the government and courts have used for this is that safety inspections are not investigative, but administrative. administrative functions never violate the 4th Amendment because there is no suspected criminality involved.

Its both a safety inspection and a criminal investigation, because its a crime to not have certain equipment on the boat. Additionally I don't give the government extra authority simply because they are trying to protect me from myself v. enforcing laws.

It will be just as soon as you find the post where I called Thomas Jefferson a moron. But alas, you're too stupid and too dishonest to comprehend how stupid you look making such dumbass claims.

Its right there on the other thread for the entire world to see!

Still sore?

BUT, you're okay when the Government tells you how much wealth is fair and where to get your health insurance. ;)

Irony surrounds the ignorant.

Post #288 in "Gods work" thread will direct you to the place where you called tj's words moronic.

it's not a crime, it's a regulatory violation that costs you a civil fine. Additionally, it's been the position of government and statists that you automatically give gov the authority to do what it needs until the courts say that they can't.

Were you aware of this possibility, prior to launching said boat.
Because if you were, then you had the choice to either accept the probability of it occurring or you had the choice to not be on the boat
If you weren't aware; then you've a bigger fool for not educating yourself on what you're agreeing to, by having a boat in the water.

Which is the one that pertains to you?
