An "investigation" needs substantive evidence, probable cause if you will.

Drumpf's claim that five million people voted illegally was never backed up with any substantive and plausible evidence.

We do not live in a society where claiming something on Twitter should lead to a large national investigation, costing hundreds of millions of tax payer dollars.

In contrast, GOP efforts at voter disenfranchisement are being proven, in courts of law, across the nation.

So wrapping up, in your confusion and incoherence, you were comparing apples to oranges.

Every single investigation & study that has been done on voter fraud has turned up zilch. There is no widespread voter fraud.

Trump's investigation is a purely ego-driven folly.

We live in a democratic republic, with a system of laws Yurt. Someone cannot claim that you personally committed voter fraud, beat your wife, or defrauded an employer, and have you investigated, without providing some kind of plausible evidence

The FBI started the Russia investigation, because it was clear Russia meddled in the election. It wasn't an ego trip.

States are denying his requests for reasons related to privacy, mainly. A lot of red states, too. Only Trump apologists support this commission.
