No one has to be able to recite the VRA to understand what gerrymandering is .. and if your argument is that republicans aren't gerrymandering districts that have nothing to do with the VRA .. then you haven't been paying attention. Just pick up a paper.

You are right, one doesn't need to know everything about the VRA. I know I don't.

I do know what majority minority districts are and they are a form of gerrymandering.

Majority-minority districts can happen naturally. It's fairly easy to discern when, how, and where that happens.

But when the artificial district is designed by one party .. sometimes contorting in ways on a map that leave one wondering has this could possibly be the same district .. those are easily discerned as well, and those are the ones that should all end up in court, with the losing party paying all the associated costs.

What is your opinion on the Republican Party and its historical attacks on the black vote?

Funny how those voters have no problem showing the same ID they could use to vote when it comes to demanding food stamps. I thought the left said they were couldn't get valid IDs?
