39% = Trump's approval rating

It might just mean that Republicans lose the House, or even the Senate.

Unhappy voters, who would not be happy with the other side, do not vote. That is good for Democrats, not as good as getting the votes, but still good.
"It does not matter who we vote for....We always get John McCain."

Trump approval drops to record low of second term

President Trump’s approval rating dropped to its lowest level of his second term in the YouGov/Economist poll released Tuesday.

In the weekly survey, conducted this past weekend, 39 percent of surveyed Americans approve of Trump’s handling of the presidency, down from the 41 percent recorded over the last three weeks and 40 percent recorded in mid-August.

In the latest survey, 57 percent of Americans disapprove of the president’s handling of his post, also a record for his second term.

Because we suddenly believe bullshit fake news media polls.

Democrats' approval rating = 19%.

Well, you don't have the best batting average on predictions...so there's that...;)

RCP is infamous for including pro-Republican and Rasmussen-affiliated polling organizations that prop up Trump's approval rating.
They’re also infamous for including pro-democrat polls like economist/yougov, Morning Consult, RMG Research, and Washington Post/Ipsos, e.g.
:palm:

I wonder just how much this will effect his ratings,
Now he is talking going to war again in Afghanistan, I guess he didn't learn anything from the last time we were there.
IMO people of the US are sick of going into places like that and just getting more of our people killed for nothing.

RMG is affiliated with Rasmussen, and provides results that are weighed towards the Republican. 538 won't even use Rasmussen anymore because they are so unreliable and curiously pro-Trump.

Your RPC average has several outliers which are suspiciously Pro-Trump. The arithmetic mean, or average, is a terrible statistic to use it there are outliers.

LEFT-CENTER BIAS

These media sources have a slight to moderate liberal bias.

Of course.

FiveThirtyEight – Bias and Credibility

Rasmussen Reports – Bias and Credibility

RIGHT-CENTER BIAS

These media sources are slightly to moderately conservative in bias

Your RPC average has several outliers which are suspiciously Pro-Trump.
It also has several outliers which are suspiciously anti-Trump. That’s why it’s an average.

Agreed.
