Biden keeps getting the success in a difficult situation.
Some odd things. We are talking about a recession, while there is solid job growth. That is because there were twice as many job openings as job seekers. We can lose job openings and not lose employed people. In fact, as job openings disappear, more people get worried, and take jobs. Unemployment drops as job openings disappear.
Odd how it happened before the Republicans took the House.
There are more people employed than before the pandemic, so there is no way you can make that claim work. Besides, people cannot just magically return to the same job they had years ago.

The whole damn country was shut/locked down. Anyone with a hint if intelligence knows that once those lockdowns were lifted, the job market opens back up.
How many small businesses have closed because of those lockdowns? How many lazy millennials won't go out and get a job?

Why? Actually, a bad economy tends to be self reinforcing. If a lot of people do not have jobs, they do not have money, they will not be consumers, so more people will lose their jobs. Most economic crisis continue after the spark that started them ends.
Actually, there has been an explosion in new small businesses. Part of the problem that the service sector is having is that so many former employees have started their own business.
It is mostly older generations entering "early retirement" or having "persistent health problems" that have refused to reenter the workforce. The "lazy" millennials are hard at work at new sorts of jobs, and refusing to be your slaves.
Trump ordered the shutdown, and American presidents are supposed to be able to handle emergency situations.
The shutdown only lasted a couple months at most, and only a few weeks in many places.
Other nations handled the pandemic better than Trump.
Far more jobs have been created under Biden than were lost by Trump. So you can't claim 13 million jobs gained under Biden is due to people returning to their old jobs.

The Federal government was very generous at providing stimulus money to keep businesses afloat. Many Republican congressional reps who owned small businesses availed themselves of this socialism.
