3 hours, 7 minutes

So Trump handed out the zip ties and hand cuffs to them?

Cmon man

They call that a goalpost move.

Again: Trump could have stopped it, at any time. It was clear he had that power, because he DID stop it eventually.

He watched for over 3 hours before deciding to do that. It really wasn't unlike what happened in Uvalde.

People around Trump testified they begged him to call the National Guard or tell them to stop. He refused.

He couldn’t have stopped anything

The proud boys came prepared to riot so it was going to happen regardless

Disagreed, Tink. Pedo Don invited them and urged them to attack.

Obviously, there's some long-time connection between Trump and the Proud Boys as evidenced by his infamous "Proud Boys stand back and stand by" statement.

Trump's Proud Boys 'stand back and stand by' debate moment was more than a dog whistle
There are not two sides to white supremacy, just as there are not two sides to homophobia, anti-Semitism or any other type of hate. That is, apparently, unless your name is Donald J. Trump.

He also had to be talked into including "stay peaceful" in a tweet.

He loved what was going on. It was all for him. Great for the ego.

It was a typical Trump CYA moment. A week later he condemned all of them and refused to pardon any...including those only guilty of trespassing.

Trump condemns 'heinous attack' on Capitol, calls for 'healing and reconciliation'
President Trump on Thursday condemned Wednesday’s "heinous attack" on the Capitol by his supporters and called for healing.

"Like all Americans, I am outraged by the violence, lawlessness and mayhem," Trump said, adding that he had "immediately" deployed the National Guard.

He tweeted out the video shortly after his account was unlocked by Twitter. Twitter, along with Facebook, suspended the president for his initial response to the riot.

His Twitter speech is priceless:

That's the amount of time that passed from when the 1/6 riot started, until Trump made a video statement telling supporters to go home.

And as soon as he told them to go home, they left.

He waited 3 hours & 7 minutes. And he's the frontrunner for the '24 GOP nomination.

Still trying to deny his speech on Jan 6th, eh?

Don't do that? He scheduled a rally at exactly the same time and date as the electoral vote was being counted.
There was no electoral vote to count. Too many States never chose electoral members.
Then it was as close to the capitol where the count was being staged as he could get.
The count was being staged. Even YOU admit it.
He had many speakers who roused already angry people to the Trump big lie.
The evidence of election fraud was not gathered by Trump. You can't make that evidence just disappear. I've already shown some of it to you.
One after another told them Trump was cheated and they were cheated too.
He was cheated. Election fraud by Democrats is cheating.
Trump's people were in contact with the crazy militaristic Trumpys.
There weren't any. Hallucination.
He knew who was there. he also roused them up with his lying talking points.
The purpose of any rally is to rouse people. Perhaps you've forgotten that.
many were leaving long before he added at the end "go in peace'.
Just those Democrats who were there.
I wondered it anyone was dumb enough to think that negated the speeches and point of the rally. You are not being honest at all.
Putting words in people's mouths is a fallacy, dude. The point of the rally was not to cause violence. You are not being honest at all.

This is a story about a riot, and a "leader" who waited 3 hours to do anything about it. I told the truth about that story.

Any TRUE leader would have recognized that it didn't matter what he said - they clearly didn't listen, and there was violence going on. Lives were in danger, and people were getting hurt - and he watched it, while he could have done something to stop it.

That is a 100% true story. Sorry that it makes you uncomfortable.

This is a fictional story. Making up shit and calling it a 'true story' is just a circular argument fallacy, dude.
