Almost Never Right WALT is often seen selling Imperial Empire lies like the one about Kharkiv ....but my evaluation is that whomever drives WALT is well aware that these are lies....no human is wrong as often as WALT is...especially one that yaps constantly claiming to be an expert.......this is psyops.

The Russians retreated as they came to understand that this would be a long fight, and they needed a bigger army and a new plan.

As you almost certainly know.
They need a bigger, well trained army. They have lost huge numbers of junior officers, which makes forming a new, well trained army more difficult and time consuming.

Bull Shit.....the Russians have a quarter million highly trained fully equipped men in two armies in the rear ready to go.

There is a real chance there will be a nuclear war that does not involve the USA. Pakistan and India, two nuclear countries, have had a major border conflict. China and India, two nuclear countries, have had a minor border conflict. Germany, Japan, South Korea, and Taiwan are all moving towards nuclear weapons because of trump. Iran, North Korea, and Saudi Arabia are moving towards nuclear weapons even without trump.... Well North Korea already has them, but you get the point. I can see a dozen or two nuclear war scenarios there that do not include the USA.

Oh for sure, I just think that if a nuclear war happens, it's more -likely- that the U.S. is involved.

As to Ukraine, I sincerely doubt they'll ever get any substantial territory that they've lost east of the Dnipro back.
In the north, they did recapture Kharkiv, which included more territory than Russia has been able to capture in the last two and a half years.

I do remember Ukraine regaining a lot of territory early in the war, but from what I've seen, that was a one time thing- Russia learned its lesson and when Ukraine did its 2023 "Spring offensive", it was a disaster for them. A recent article on the subject:

Do you know how long it takes to train a junior officer? Do you know the equipment needed to cross a river?
My grapevine is in full agreement on the 250,000 highly trained fully equipped men waiting on orders.....but Putin is very cautious, and the Imperial Empire keeps talking recklessly.....they are currently being held either for the summer offensive or to deal with NATO inserting more troops into Ukraine.

The Kharkiv lie was highly consequential as it was used to justify the idiotic summer offensive...which went nowhere at huge cost in men and machines....it was an obvious lie but there is some evidence that a lot of people inside the Imperial Empire believed it....it is a text book lesson on the cost of believing ones own bullshit.

They also claim that the Russians leaving the Kiev area was because they were getting their ass kicked....it was not....there as well the Russians withdrew....in this case as a goodwill gesture because they thought they had a deal in Istanbul.

Speaking of lies I see the claim that the Russians have sent a low level team to Istanbul so they are not serious...a team that includes Lavrof and multiple high level military guys.....you might was well be telling me that an Apple Tree is a Cherry Tree.

Negotiating with Zelensky is pointless. He doesn't fund the war, doesn’t control comms or intel, and doesn't choose the weapons. This is a Russia-West conflict over post-Soviet spheres of influence. It only ends when both sides agree where the line is — and stop shifting it.
