Apparently there are unforeseen consequences of tax laws. What. a. shocking. development.

US citizenship is a valuable commodity. I don't see why we shouldn't leverage that to shore up taxes from millionaires "residing" in the Cayman Islands or somewhere. Since you can deduct your foreign income taxes, it only really effects those living in a tax a shelter. 3000 is a paltry number, I don't see any reason to panic.
