The vast majority of opioid deaths are NOT suicides, you pointy hooded simpleton! Look it up! Also, look up the legal definitions for the words "suicide" and "homicide". Start thinking before your fingers hit the keys, will ya please?
 
Drug addiction deaths are natural selection.

It's one method nature has to get rid of some of the idiots.

Gun deaths are nothing like that,
but they are what the founders wanted and they got their way.

54% by last official count. That means 46% are homicides.

And last time I checked, some joker doing illegal drugs is NOT going to result in me getting a stray bullet in a mass shooting, gang/mob hit or shoot out, etc.

When we try to get you help with your drug problems, you turn your guns on us. The thing about drugs, is I do not do them, so they will not hurt me. I cannot say the same about guns.

Drugs are the main reason for gang bangging and murder

Drugs are main reason people commit armed robbery and muggings which can lead to murder

ONLY SOME INTELLECTUALLY IMPOTENT FOOL WOULD COMPARE GUN DEATHS TO DRUG OVERDOSE DEATHS, AS THE LATTER DOES NOT INCLUDE HOMICIDES OR ACCIDENTAL STRAY KILLINGS.

The sources of those drugs should be locked up. The users, no. Those 270K (over 4 years) that you refer to are victims, not perpetrators.

It’s a false equivalency. Much like comparing vehicular deaths to gun deaths.

Both are intended to divert from and excuse gun violence in this country.

The drug deaths are self administered which is anybody's choice.
Only a few of the gun deaths are self-administered.

However, with nearly eight billion people strangling a planet that can comfortably support half of that at most,
whatever culls the heard helps, I suppose.
