President of Indonesia: Patience for Israel 'Has Long Run Out'



Indonesian President Joko Widodo urged Israel to end the occupation of Palestinian territories, saying international patience "has long run out," at the opening Monday of a summit.
"As part of the international community, Israel must immediately stop its illegal activities and policies in occupied territories," Joko said in a speech opening an extraordinary summit of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) in Jakarta.*
"Indonesia and the Islamic world are ready to take concrete steps to push Israel to end its colonization of Palestine and its arbitrary actions in al-Quds al-Sharif," he said, using the Arabic name for Jerusalem.

There are 1.6 billion Muslims in the world- all of whom support the Palestinians and condemn Israel for its illegal occupation. It's calculated that the world population of Muslims will outnumber Christians sometime during this century. However, it is far from a matter of Muslims v Christians over the Israel problem. Many Christians also condemn Israel. So the weight of numbers is inexorably pushing for an end to Israeli intransigence and war criminality- and weight of numbers dictates the actions of democracies.
The point of pointing this out is that the only realistic solution to the problem of Israel- a Western created and Western maintained problem- is for Israel to comply with international law now. Further down the road the problem could well result in a world-wide conflagration which would be the final act in the human experiment. It's that important and Israel , with its covert nuclear arsenal, should be the primary focus of every country in the world. Feeding Israel's military ambitions will not save Israel in the long term.

Should Israel have been recognised as a state amidst the Muslim Middle East ? No. But it was and it exists with the legal backing of the United Nations- the very organisation with which Israel refuses to comply.

It's not even a case of not liking them in some instances. Reasonable people can not like drivers from Ohio: quite often, for very good reasons. But there are places in some parts of the world where Muslims are taught to hate Jews.

Muslims had no problem with Jews for 1500 years until the series of wars of Israeli aggression launched against them, when in which westerners took advantage of the Arab worlds weakness around the time of the end of its colonization to seize Arab territory for themselves and ethnically cleanse it. Israel's crime against humanity will not soon be forgotten.

As long as Jews understood they were second class citizens. As if Muslims never seized land. :rolleyes:
 
I don't care what Muslims have to say about anything, except who they plan to kill and what they plan to blow-up.
