23 known terrorists caught crossing US border last year

CBP has released data showing that in 2021 23 known terrorists on the US terrorism watch list / database were caught crossing into the US over our Southern border. CBP also estimates that about 300,000 people came across that they didn't catch. This means that there was an almost certainty that more terrorists than those caught got into the US.

Actually walls do work. The vast majority of drugs and illegals do not go through ports of entry either. Tunnels are only found in urban areas of the border and are exclusively for drug smuggling. They are expensive and difficult to construct and few in number and usually discovered in any case.

So your whole thought terminating cliche "Walls don't work" is nothing but that; a logical fallacy.

The Border Patrol says the rising amount of fentanyl is being found in the desert – transported by increasingly brazen smugglers who are exploiting stretched federal resources.

They do when properly patrolled. The reason for someone crossing one is irrelevant if there is surveillance that ensures they are spotted and stopped. The wall is there to slow them down sufficiently to allow for that capture.
